Goals obtained: Significant extension of Water Franchise services. This put in place the funding sources to provide the infrastructure that most Polk County Municipalities followed by our example, 10 years too late!  This very likely has put Auburndale ahead of other communities its size, by providing state of the art Fire and Police facilities.  Hired present City Manager Robert "Bobby” Green,

Fathered the Mainstreet program and Community Redevelopment Association. For Auburndale. Very aggressive commission!  Developed the foundation Auburndale now enjoys.

The Principle, who motivated the business community, outlined the boundaries and raised  in excess of $25,000 private sector funding, and in-kind services to form a 501-C3 Not for Profit, tax deductable corporation. The first step to the Mainstreet and C.R.A. for the City of Auburndale.  This element was key to many matching grants and funding for a full time executive director and has become the economic engine that downtown Auburndale enjoys today.
